One of the few Buffy comic book covers I've worked on that doesn't require drawing the portrait of the actual actors.
I always think it's more difficult to draw real people than from imagination. Very often, the editor would ask me to revise the artwork because they don't look quite like the actors...orz

I can only imagine how difficult drawing actors must be. You always do an amazing job of it, though. I was just looking at your other submission--of issue 16--and I thought "wow, Jo managed to get that to look so much like Buffy, even from such an add angle". So major props to you!

I really enjoy your original character works so I especially love this image. It's just.. really beautiful! I love the pomegranate, they're such gorey fruit lol, so it's very fitting. You always draw such gorgeous men, you're an artist I really look up to and this is pretty much the embodiment of why. ♥
